You carry the unborn for God
Mary, carried the Messiah Jesus,
if she had not wanted Our Saviour
You carry the child for God
You carry the unborn for who
they will someday be
You carry the unborn for
the Glory of God
whether there is a father
if he left, or if
he stays
There is a Father
Greater in Power
and Glory,
who stands beside
the unborn,
who blesses
when you deliver
the child
inside
your womb
for The Father.
For you know not
who the child is
a prophet
an evangelist
a missionary
a minister
a priest
a deacon
elder
singer
statesman
scientist
engineer
physicist
teacher
writer
artist
soldier
mouth
who Proclaims
the Glory of Almighty God
You carry the child
not for you
but for Jesus
for the Messiah
who washes our sins
in His Blood
For the Glory
For the Kingdom
you carry the unborn
for someone greater
than what you know
than the poverty
you temporarily
pass through
You carry the child
for what you do not
know
for an experience
greater than motherhood
You carry the unborn
to give to God
the unborn are
consecrated to a Holy God
and who you destroy
is the Image of Holy God
and when you spit
you spit into the Face
of a Crucified Jesus
gamble his clothes
away,
cut him into
pieces to be discarded
and incinerated
you break the Heart
of God,
you lay the stripes
on Jesus again,
and you bring
ruin and ashes
and shame
not just
to women
but to the common
grace of society
You carry the unborn
not for anything you
know in this world
there is nothing
in this dying world
precious as the
life you carry inside
of you
“Woman, what you do,
and who you carry,
you don’t even know,
you carry the Unborn
for a Holy God,
more Holy than you could
know,
and if God weren’t so gracious
no tongue could contain and
declare,
THE HOLY HOLY HOLY
OF THE SOVEREIGN GOD
every tongue and every eye
would flame
never forget who you disobey
when you refuse to carry
the unborn.
