This Generation

This is a generation of children, constantly whining, needing to be entertained as a child on their mother’s nipple. A generation, of whiners and complainers, even Moses’ generation didn’t whine and complain so loudly. You want the best houses, and the best cars, the best comforts, a generation of adolescents bored with what they have, that you covet what is not yours. Children, look into your own backyards, and love what plants grow in your own yard. The other backyards seem to grow more exotic plants only because they are not yours. Be grateful for what is on your own plate, and don’t covet what it on another’s. Let us not cause The Lord grief by the greed in our hearts. Be hungry for the Knowledge of The Lord. Be thirsty for The Ways of God. A heart that craves to be entertained is a heart that is empty. Never has there been a generation of people so consumed with “things”, “things”, “things” that have no spirit or soul, but inanimate things that will break down eventually, only to be replaced by another worse monstrosity. Stop filling your pockets, when they are already overflowing! Rather give some of the overflow to strangers whose pockets are empty. Stop storing up for yourselves, what you are really storing up is The Wrath of God! Children, your houses are broken, although they appear outwardly beautiful, your marriages are broken, your children are being broken by the lusts in your own hearts. This generation has goods, but no substance. Everything is broken down around you, and you don’t even know it, your justice is twisted and perverted! Turn back! Walk backwards to the days when you Feared God. Begin to pick up your dusty bibles, and search with your souls and taste what is food. You eat in the best restaurants, things that do not satisfy your souls, for there you are the next hour eating somewhere else, and the whole day is spent buying goods, and eating foods, that do not fill! Less is better, let goods begin to wear out before you run out to buy something else! You fill the “churches” but your hearts are not with God. God is not in a building. He is found when you seek Him, when you seek Jesus who was crucified! when your hearts begin to scratch and ache, and scream out for a love that no one can fill. Quiet the noise of the world around, shut down your televisions, and the cacophony around. Abundance is not to be found in any of these things. Abundance comes from a heart in tune with God. From God flows peace, joy, and love! From God, truth is found. The truth of an empty soul, that fills itself up with the garbage around. Healing does not come from entertainment, it comes from The Hands of God. You only anesthetize yourselves ! You are healed when you lay at The Feet of Jesus, when your brokenness means more to you than your goods! When your tears begin to pour out of you as wounds from a battle. When you let the fatility of your poverty drip from you! Healing comes from a heart that is broken! Acknowledge the brokenness, and then you can be healed! Lay down your sins, so you can be forgiven! Sins do not leave if they have not been confessed. You are not forgiven until you have given the sins to God. Don’t assume you have been forgiven if you have not asked to be forgiven. The Lord Jesus was crucified on The Cross, but not for sins you will not confess. Begin to confess as a nation, as a city, as a family, as an individual, what you know in your hearts to be sin. This culture whitewashes everything, it calls good, what is sin, it calls sin, what is not sin. Poverty is not sin, although this culture calls it sin. Confess and repent! God calls each one of us, to confess and then repent! God is Merciful, and He is not willing that any should perish but that all might have eternal life. Begin to search the closets of your souls, and clean house. Sins must be exposed to be forgiven, exposed to The Light of Jesus. He cannot forgive what you do not bring into The Light.
