Not of this world

There is a rip inside each of us, only the Holy Spirit fills
Lord Christ takes me to His Kingdom, to another place
the place called Paradise and Heaven, where the outcasts and lepers
freely roam, and are unconditionally loved,

To escape with them the anguish of not belonging to this world
My place is not here, but with the Lord
to kneel in His presence an eternity

THOU MY LORD O MOST HOLY ETERNAL AND GLORIOUS KING

I LOVE THEE YOU GIVE ME THE STRENGTH TO GO ON IN THIS LIFE

On this side of the river,
On this side of the Pristine Mirror
I place my hands to touch the Holy
Places,
Desiring to cross over so often,
But for now You need me here

In dreams I see You and recognize You
Not as the blonde Jesus of films
But another face, with a more beautiful
temperament

MY WOUNDED SAVIOUR

You understand the rejection and the scorn
of this world, that has laid so much blame
at my feet

In my world of prayer, the intimate place
where my soul has been in union with Yours
a consummation for my aching
I tremble in this body, all chained up
inside where I find reprieve and respite

IN WORSHIPING YOU

In whispers, In stillness, in the deep recesses
of suffering I find YOU
