The glory is not in hair,
though women treat their hair as a pile of gold
It is only hair, the covering of woman
but women have glorified themselves by taking it
and making it into an idol
The glory is not in our bodies,
though people sculpt and chisel away at it
as priceless art
It is only a body, that will one day cease to be
it will be refuse for the birds and the maggots
it is only an earthen vessel,
simple clay in The Hands of Almighty God
please don’t make an idol of it
certainly don’t worship what is not to be glorified
The glory is not in our money,
or in our possessions, these are things
that will one day get old and be discarded
inanimate objects made not in the Image of God
please don’t keep accumulating what will not last
Loving money is a trap many fall into
It is a snare, it will deceive, break up homes
If you cling to it as a loved one,
If you cling to it as a god.
Let your money go with the birds
God feeds them,
Give your money to the poor
Don’t hang onto so much of it.
For in the end, these are cords that make slaves of you
In the end, wealth does not please God.
The worship of bodies, wealth, and hair
is idolatry.
There is more idolatry.
More that seeps into households as carbon monoxides
as deadly poisons,
Television. Watching objects, and people on them
committing wanton and lustful acts.
Soap operas.
Violence. Watching people graphically killing one another
Crime shows.
Movies that glorify violence and lewdness.
Watching torture and pornography
If your hearts receive these things they will not so easily let them go.
What glory is there in these things?
In the battering of another human?
In fornications, and adulteries?
Glorifying the nakedness of women men are not married to
Could it be this is why there is so much violence and divorce?
These things do not bring glory to a household,
but shame, and in the end death.
THE GLORY IS IN GOD!
