Do Not Love The World
" Do not love the world, or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of The Father is not in him."
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of The Father, but is of the world.
And the world is passing away, and the lust of it, but he who does The Will of God abides forever."
(1John 2:15-17)

Our Father commanded this, not suggested it. Why would a child of God think they have the option to hang around the world as they do? The Holy Spirit implores each one in The Body of Jesus Christ to reject the culture. We do not belong to this world, or are held by what is in it. Dear ones, children, listen, the world is not right, it is upsidown, and sideways, on it’s head, and it’s inhabitants, which are all of us, are deceived and confused. All that is in the world is of a demonic nature. It is a demonic culture that murders the unborn, and calls it a choice. It is a demonic culture that has a whole segment of the population, homeless and out on the streets. Why have we been told not to lift a finger to help them? Who has told us that it is their problem? What spirits have told us they deserve it? Why do we believe that we are better?
Recently, a man who did not have a permanant address was murdered, on the streets of New York. He helped a woman in distress, was stabbed, and then left out on the streets to bleed to death. You know people would treat a dog better than they treated him. Many bystanders, or shall we call them, those in complicity, who walked by him, not one made a simple 9-11 call. They let a human being created In The Image of Almighty God, bleed to death on a cold slab of cement. What was his crime? That he was among the very poor? This culture treats criminals, murderers better than it treated him.
This is a wicked spirit that has been poured on the society. This culture is not of God. A society that would defend a criminal with the resources of the poor, and then legislates, “they can only be found guilty if it is beyond the shadow of a doubt.”
Well, what murderor is ever going to confess to committing a crime, when they have a society that will set them free? The victims cannot speak for themselves, and if witnesses are found they are discredited, and treated as if they are the ones who committed the crime.
A society that does not punish those who murder is a society that is already under the sway of the wicked one.
Yet, this same society condemened the homeless man to die, yet released Casey Anthony because there was not sufficient evidence to sentence her for the crime. She had not reported her toddler child missing for nearly a month?
This is the same society, those who Name the Name of Christ cling to? The Word of God has commanded The Church to reject this culture. Yet, they do not want to reject it. God has not commanded us to reject the people in it, only the ways of the world. Yet, The Church, or those who profess to being called The Church, these “little churches” we see on every corner, in this fabric of society, that we call “Traditional Christianity.” There has never been more “homelessness”, “more crime”, or “more indifference”. This love of this world is particular to who it loves. It has a mold that it forces a society to fit into, and those who do not fit it’s mold, are treated with contempt and utter disdain, certainly these “misfits” will not be treated with any kind of respect or love. Like the man who died on the streets, while a city walked past him. This is not the Good Samaritan, Jesus spoke of. (1) Yet, these same people probably inhabit the buildings that are adorned with a cross.
It is beginning to become very fascist in nature, didn’t the Germans walk right past dying Jews on the streets of Berlin? Why? Because the society, The Third Reich deemed them undesirable, brainwashed a whole society. Just like now, we are being brainwashed into believing that the “poor” simply do not matter. Those who claim to be Christian, must share in this philosophy, or else there wouldn’t be so many people living out on the streets.
I can write this, because I know that The Holy Spirit is capable of doing amazing work. The Word of God is filled with miracles, and such acts of love. The Church in Acts, sold all they had, and laid the money from land they had owned at the feet of the apostles. It is written that they all sold what they had and gave to each one as they had necessity. (2) What church going person would ever do that now? I have been to churches where they had made such a big fuss over giving me a ride home because it was simply out of their way. The angels of heaven are weeping! Who could have come more out of their way than Jesus Christ The Lord of Glory, who was crucified for the sins of the world. Crucifixion, as we all know was no easy death, it was considered one, if not the most agonizing means of death. It was a torture, of brutal proportions. Our Lord was flogged viciously and mercilessly. Not once, but the bible states, three times, by the sanhedrin, king herod, and by the romans themselves. He was spat on, his beard was pulled out hair by hair. A crown of thorns was twisted over his brow. He was lashed 40x, as 40 was the number of judgment, of those who were to be sentenced to be crucified. He carried, or at least attempted to carry the cross with his already bleeding and broken body. Stripped, and then his hands and feet were nailed with spikes to hold him on the Cross with splinters. He agonized on The Cross for many hours, was mocked while he was bearing the sins of the world, was speared through the side, but worst of all, His Father had to leave Him. (3) This was the cup The Lord Jesus had to drink in order to free the world that He loved unto death. If He didn’t drink this cup of wrath, no one would be given entrance to heaven. It was this loving, yet very brutal act that was the sacrifice of saving a world from paying the penalty of sin. (4) What was the penalty for sin? Hell. An eternity in the agonizing fires of torment. I know to the unsaved, this doesn’t make sense. They have said, “why would a loving God condemn people to hell.” A loving God already paid the sin debt, you only have to believe in Him, and with faith comes obedience. I’ve heard others say, "Well, He’s God, why doesn’t he just let us go to heaven anyway. “Because the Law is there can be no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood.” (5)Unlike this world, God is Righteous, and does not put Himself above The Law. Only corrupt judges put themselves above the laws of the land. Why do you think the Ancient Israelites sacrificed so many animals? It was for atonement of sin. (6) But, we have the Atonement now, Jesus Christ paid the debt for sin in full.
So, I don’t understand why those who call themselves The Church would want to share in this culture. I have heard many say, “It is Grace.” “I am saved by Grace.” "Yes, this is true, but if you truly had “The Gift of Grace”, sin would repel you. The Holy Spirit would be indwelling you, and would convict you of sin. (7) The Holy Spirit rejects this culture, has no part in this world, He certainly has no stake in it.
The real question those in The Church, should ask themselves, "If we share in this culture, why wouldn’t we share in it’s punishment?

“Then He will also say to those on the left hand. “Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick in prison and you did not visit Me.”
(Matthew 25:41-43)
