Today is Ash Wednesday in the Catholic world. I realize many Christians do not recognize Lent. But Jesus was in the wilderness for 40 days and nights praying and overcoming temptation from the devil. He hungered and He thirsted and prayed to His father, denying the flesh.
While it is true that we give up things, particularly certain foods during lent, it is more important to find God and cleave to Him the way that Jesus did. It is important to follow Jesus' example of prayer. It is more important for believers to study their bibles daily. Nothing wrong with giving up sweets, but if one slips up, it is better to abstain from sin. Give up some of your television programs and study the Word as a family or by yourself. Be Christ-like, by forgiving, by not holding grudges. Don't take yourselves to seriously, give up the prickly spirit, and let the Holy Spirit, make you gentle and kind. Give up the need to be right all of the time, smile more, and be compassionate.
Don't judge others for their shortcomings, for their sins, rather pray for them. We are all flawed, and we all sin. Let us pray for one another, let us praise God together, rather than criticize each other.
Let's argue less, and let us quickly come to resolution. Call up family members you haven't called in ages. Let reconciliation be your spirit, be reconciled. Let Lent be a season of love. Love those who do not necessarily love you. Be like Jesus, and love your enemies, those who hurt you, and those who laugh at your misfortune. Let Christ be your champion, and let Christ fight your battles.
Let peace be your mantle. God says, "Blessed are the peacemakers. For they shall be called the sons of God." (Matthew 5:9)
Be His ambassador this Lent, and continue on after Lent being God's man or woman. Be a man or woman for Christ. Take care of your children. Honouring God by loving and really being patient and kind to your little ones. Spend time with your families, instead of watching that television program, or working that over-time, or going out with your friends. Honor Christ, by honoring your parents. Be kind to them, help them out financially if you are able. Spend time with them.
Bless other with the gifts the Lord has given you.
It is good to give up sweets. It is better to love those around you.

Prayer
Praying is listening to the voice of God or our attempt at listening. Not just petitions or requests but really and truly communing with God. It doesn't have to be eloquent speech, but a voice that cries out to God, a heart that wants to be close. From here The Holy Spirit, Jesus will pray with us, for us, through us.
It is about quieting the soul down, about silence, and longing, and searching for God. It is about union with the Lord, about surrender, about His will, and not ours. It requires discipline, or at the very least honesty.
Prayer must be seen as a joy and not a chore. It is a great priviledge to be able to pray. Christ died to give prayer to us, to give us His Holy Spirit, to make us Holy and beautiful.
Prayer will change us, will change the world. Without prayer there can be no forgiveness, no love, no joy, no peace inside of us to give to others. Prayer is plugging us into the heart of God, to the mind of God. It is not out of arrogance, but out of need that we must bend out knees, and our ears.
I believe prayer is humbling, since we cannot control the outcome of it. It requires faithfulness to it, and vigilence. The Apostle Paul wrote, "We must remain vigilant in it." (Colossian 4:2) What does that mean vigilant? In Webster's Dictionary, it means "to remain watchful and alert."
By the spirit one's prayers must be open to include others. It is wonderful to pray for your family, but one must pray for the entire world, or as many people as the Lord would have you pray for. Always keep your heart open to those around. The world needs prayer so badly, the world is wounded and limping and dying. Take a little of the burden and pray for the people in it.
Take the time and the effort to pray. Close your eyes, and let Christ guide you, let the Holy Spirit make it's utterances through you. Let God break your heart in prayer, be one of those people who weeps over sin, and weeps over the condition of this world. The world is not fine. Things are not well. Even if the economy recovers the country is not okay. There is too much sin. Prayers, sincere prayers must be the heart of the nation. Let Christ show you the wounded and scorched places of the earth. Hope how He hopes, love how He loves, dream how He dreams, pray how He prays, or at least let Christ lead you.
Be the voice for the world. Be the advocate for the world. Weep for the world. Don't rejoice with the world. How can we? When there are abortions being committed, when there are children being abused in every conceivable way, when there are women being raped and beaten, the homeless are everywhere, the hungry are everywhere, sin is being committed everywhere, and we have no commitment to our marriages, or children. There are fatherless children everywhere, fathers leave so easily and so heartlessly.
No, the world is not fine. So pray for the world. Pray with the heart of Jesus. Let the Holy Spirit use you, and let Him pray through you. Pray every chance you get. Pray in secret. Pray at night. Pray in private. Pray when you are with other people. Let prayer be your mantle. Wear it. Wear it for others. There is a world of devils. Prayer is our weapon. Pray for the little ones of the world, the helpless ones, the unsaved ones. Pray for the demon-possessed. Pray that the Lord frees them from Satan's hand.
We are a company of believers, a battalion, a brigade, an entire country of believers. We must fight. We must fight the good fight of faith, as the Apostle Paul instructed us to do.
Pray for your lives. Pray as if there were no tomorrow. Pray out of gratitude. Pray as praise to the One who Created us and sustains us.
Pray because it is the right thing to do. Pray as if your life depended on it, as eating or sleeping. Pray morning, noon, and night. Pray in the good times as well as the bad times. Pray as a smile. Pray as conversation. Pray before meals. Pray after meals. Pray when bathing. Pray instead of watching t.v. Pray instead of calling to talk to friends. Pray when you are lonely. Pray instead of cutting. Pray instead of drinking alcohol. Pray instead of over-eating. Pray when you want to sin. Pray when bad thoughts arise. Pray in church. Pray as worship. Pray with your husband or wife. Pray with your children. Pray with your mother and father. Pray with your brothers and sisters. Pray with your friends. Pray with strangers on the street. Pray to heal the broken places inside. Pray to fill the empty places inside. Pray to be close to the Lord. Pray when you are distant from Him. Pray after you've sinned. Pray because God loves you. Pray because you love Him.
Pray knowing that God will answer your prayers. Pray because He listens to your prayers. Pray because it is a joy. Pray because it is a great priviledge. Pray faithfully. Pray in the earliest hours of morning. Pray when you can't sleep. Pray when you are filled with worry and doubt. Pray when you can't speak to loved ones.
Pray as a first resort. Pray as a last resort.
Jesus prayed in the wilderness. He prayed everyday of His natural life on earth. He continues to pray. Since He prays. Let us follow His example, and pray too.

In His Time
In His time and not ours. The Lord will answer prayers in His timing and not ours. For His Glory and not ours. He is the Glory of the world, and with Him there is no time and space. He will make our petitions come to pass, but we must have faith. When we ask, we must believe that He loves us, and that He is able, and He will in His time and not ours. Faith waits for God, and faith believes that God works on our behalf, even when we do not see Him working on our behalf He is working on our behalf.
There are times that prayer is like a wilderness, and there is no rest, and prayers must be made fervently. The Apostle Paul tells us in the bible, "that we must pray without ceasing." (1Thes 5:17) It is a marathon, not stopping, prayers cannot be made haphazardly, sometimes, nor half-heartedly. Everytime believers pray it is with the hope of hearing from God, it is with the hope of being ushered into His Holy presence even if momentarily, it is with the hope of being in union with Christ, with being in-synch with the Holy Spririt, with letting prayer be more than words but the expression of a soul in-synch with the trinity. Of course, it doesn't always happen, but prayer isn't made for show, and prayer isn't just words, it is to be in constant relationship with Christ, with our Creator and Saviour.
Prayer is something special, exciting and real, when our heart want to reach His heart, not out of arrogance, but out of need, and brokenheartedness. God is close to the broken hearted. "When my heart is overwhelmed, led me to a rock that is higher than I." (Psalm 61:2)
Life is prayer, prayer is our life, is is our meat, our sustenance. Believers must be in constant contact with Him.
When I pray for people, it is with the hope that God intervenes in their situation, on their behalf, but it is also with the intention of understanding what God wants me to do with their situation. We are His people, His ambassadors. It seems logical that God would send His ambassadors on His behalf to work on His behalf. So all the work in prayer isn't on God, but it also falls on us.
Prayer is a tapestry, a weaving of patterns that will be revealed one day. Not in our time, but His. The tapestry of prayer will be revealed for His purposes for His Glory.
I cannot pretend to always know when God will answer the prayers I have made. But I can always feel confident that He hears my prayers believing that my prayers concern Him, and that they are not overlooked simply because situations have not changed around me. I still pray to move to the next level of what God would have me do, if I need to change here or there to see the Glory of God in any given situation.
God can change the world around us, nothing is impossible with Him, and with every prayer I make I know that it isn't in vain. With every prayer I make, I know that I have reached beyond myself to the source of my life. It brings me to the barest expression that I live by His grace and His mercy. Prayer brings the realization that we are but a vapor in this world, and we can change nothing without God. I realize prayer can change me. I believe prayer can introduce a sense of humility, and can bring forth real transformation.
When prayer is a dialogue. When prayers don't get answered right away. When answers sometimes take years. It is God wanting to have a deeper relationship. It is an expression of real love, when God brings us into deeper communion.
Today I heard my spirit whisper, "In His time, not yours."

Extreme Good
If we are in the last days what else can we do but hope in God? Hold onto Him, Hold onto His Word, Keep faith in Our Saviour, Believe in His Love, and His Mercy, and Know that His Word is all Truth. Know that He gives us boundaries for a reason, and trust that He does this out of love for us, so we do not hurt ourselves. When He says, "He who commits sexual immorality sins against His own body." (1Cor 6:18) We have to know that He means our sexual purity for a reason.
So much pornography on the inter-net, where children try to get a hold of it. It is there for all the world to see. But we have to know, that God would have better for us, than to look at other people commiting sexual acts in public view. They hurt themselves by what they do. People who commit such acts are not happy, they are hurting individuals, who have been deeply wounded.
In earnest do I write this. In earnest do I pray that the light of God would shine on all people.
A big and difficult debate, is Prop 8 in California. Christians hold dear the sanctity of marriage, the deep emotional, spiritual and physical bond between a man and a woman who love each other. We can try and change God's words, but we only deceive ourselves when we try to make God's eternal words mean what we want them to. People call Christians bigots, full of hate. I feel no hatred for anyone. I only adhere to the principles of the bible, regardless if that makes me unpopular. I am not politically correct, I only want to be spiritually correct. People of the same gender may love one another, but the bible has something else to say about physical love between the same gender.
The people of California upheld marriage between a man and a woman. We are in litigation over the unconstitutionality of it. Same gender couples feel they have a right to be married same as other citizens. But can they have a viable marriage, a true bond being of the same gender, can they reproduce without outside help?
As I said, I feel nothing but compassion and love for all people. But I can't write or say what they want to hear simply because they will get their feelings hurt or call me a bigot.
Of course their feelings are real, but I have always felt that this kind of expression of love between the same gender is a matter for psychology. We cannot change our physical bodies, God made us how He made us, both man and woman from the begining. This being the case, then doesn't the problem lie within each one of us. As with other mental issues, if the problem is in the head, insisting on certain things that we know to be not physically possible, then doesn't that make them certainly impossible?
I have struggled with cutting for years, yet I am told it is a mental issue. I am told I suffer from borderline personality disorder. Yet, for "cutters" it is a sanity that has us in that behavior. To "cutters" the insane thing to do would be not to cut when we feel the strong urge to do so.
We may have certain urges that need certain physical manifestations, but that doesn't make it right or healthy. Certainly beliefs that have an abnormal attachement to them, should not be forced on the rest of society.
I always felt that if we left homosexuality in the DSM IV that we as a society could help those who struggle with these desires. We should not have accepted it only because of political pressure.
As I said, it is not I, but God that has written marriage for a man and a woman. Not I, or other Christians, but God from the begining. Just because we feel pressure to change does not make it right. It is not easy for any of us. Life is an extreme struggle, a delicate balance. If we can help each other in love to overcome the things that hurt us then I think that is better than trying to re-write laws, or force laws on everyone.
Love is the highest law. But that doesn't mean we accept what God has said we cannot accept. He wants each of us to move towards Him, into His light of love, with the help of the Holy Spirit, why would we still want to cut or be in relationships that are neither healthy or God-ordained.
I know that homosexuals struggle with suicide. They feel because society does not accept them. But maybe it is that the Holy Spirit is shining a light on them, and calls them into the light of His love. As with me, cutting makes me struggle with feelings of extreme guilt. But it is our sins that cause our guilt, God only wants us to move into His Glorious Light.
In extreme love do I write this. Heterosexuals are not better. But we all must let God love us, let Him move us into His joy and peace. For the good of humanity, we need God's blessing and love.
He accepts each of us where we are, cutters, homosexuals, theives, murderors, but He would not have us stay in the darkness. He wants to share His beautiful life with us. He died for us. He wants only our happiness, and extreme good.

What is truth?
What I feel about prayer, and what I know of myself is that I do not work well without it. When I look to the Lord in the beginning of the day, the day goes better. When I don't, arguements erupt to my surprise. We just can't live in a world full of stress and heartache, and sin without Him. The days are sometimes so long and so lonely. People don't call. Sometimes loved ones aren't able to visit. It almost seems I depend too much on family or friends, when I need to depend totally on Christ. Because people are flawed, they struggle with their own humanity, and sin.
When I pray, I feel peace, I let my inhibitions go, tears flow, I get the true words out that I need to express, (and true words can't always be expressed, except to God)I sense His presence about me, and my burdens are supernaturally lifted from my heavy heart. I pray to throw myself at His beautiful feet, to remain grounded, to know that this isn't all there is to life. I pray for vindication for the those that receive no justice in this life. For the littlest among us who suffer. I pray that God would be among us again. That he would move His army to do battle.
Sometimes just to let my pain wash over Him. To be held like a little child in His arms, to lay at His feet, to be in His presence if even for a second. To let Him guide my heart for the day.
There are so many reasons why I need prayer, why prayer is needed. Why we need to remain in union with Him. So much can wedge itself between us and Christ. The world, the material things in it, the temptations that want to corrupt us, not just fleshly things, but the ideas and the ways of it. We cannot let ourselves rationalize and accept the ideas that pose as "the new morality". Morality is what is in God's Word. Nothing has changed with God's standards. We change, our hearts have changed, but what God spoke and had spirit-filled men write thousands of years ago is still "truth".
People say there are no absolutes. That we cannot fully know what the truth of anything is. That all people must be created equal. But God has assigned men, women and children their respective roles. We cannot pervert those roles simply because others do not understand, nor want to accept the truth.
I really feel for the homosexual population. Nor do I think their lives are easy. I am not the one who thinks anything. God wrote what He wrote. He is the standard of our lives. Not the left, not democrats, humanists, republicans, liberals, Russians, Americans, Jews, or any other ethinicity. It is what Christ has paid for with His life. We live for the Cross. We are deeply grateful with a gratitude that cannot even merit what He has done. No, I feel for suffering humanity, as we must pray for the struggles of everyone. But I will not be swayed, simply because something is "politically correct." No, I am a Christ follower. Even the word Christian has gotten to mean everyone who simply wants to attend some church.
So for me, prayer is like breathing. Like eating. Jesus Christ said,"Man must not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4)

We Are To Protect Our Souls
Have you noticed the vampire theme going on in cinema? Vampires are glamorized, and are made to seem harmless, vulnerable and beautiful. In the latest Twilight films, the love between Edward the vampire and Bella the human is seen as poetic and extremely romantic. She would do anything to be loved by him, so mesmerized by this young vampire, she wants to become one of them. Granted the vampires in the Twilight series seem nice. However this is not the true nature of what vampires actually are. Vampires, though not real, are satanic. They are people who drink blood, and are far from harmless. The bible condemns the drinking of blood. It can be said that there were vampires back in the time the bible was written. What were those who drank blood back then? They worshipped demons.
Demons are real. Though they want to remain hidden. But they are everywhere in the cinema. What in the world are the Saw movies? What sort of people would want to see other people being tortured? This is not entertainment. These supposed films(which I beg to differ) are corrupting our society.
I really feel Hollywood has gone over the top producing garbage. Films that glamorize excessive violence and torture is satanic. Is it any wonder that people find nothing wrong with abortion? Is it any wonder people are as violent as they are? We need to come back to the Cross, and honour films that honour Christ. What happened to the movies of old? The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston. The Robe with Richard Burton. The Bible with George C. Scott. The Passion of Christ was a great film, even though Mel Gibson fell( I still believe he is a Christian) portrayed the suffering of Jesus. Yes, folks His suffering was extremely horrendous. He didn't glorify violence, for violence sake, He showed us how much our Saviour loves us, by the gruesome death He embraced. But, that movie offended many people. Why? Because it was about Christ. Well, do you know what the Saw movies offend me. So do movies that glorify violence, and sex. I am outraged.
Movies with horrific images of demons and violence, linger on in the mind, haunting us in our dreams. Movies about zombies eating people, cannibalize the soul. We are to protect our souls, by what we allow into it. What did the Apostle Paul write? "Finally brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are pure, whatever things are just, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, meditate on these things." (Philippines 4:8)
Many years ago I saw the first "Exorcist". The images of that disturbing film still haunt me. But it does point out the fact the demons do exist, and demons do desire to destroy us. They will not rest until they drag us to hell with them.
In point of fact, we need to collectively pray for those possessed by demons. It seems to me, that people possessed might appear normal. It only seems after the fact, when something horrible has occured that we know who they are.
Satanic movies can be used as portals to the human soul by demons. We need to constantly guard our hearts, entrust them daily to Christ.
We need to be careful the things we read. There are alot of demonic books disguised as harmless novels. To be safe, keep in the Word of Christ.

The Blood of the Unborn
I viewed a video the other day for pro-life. Gianna Jessen is the lady in the video who spoke in Victoria, Australia two years ago when the Parliament wanted to legalize abortion. She is an abortion survivor. She was supposed to be murdered in 1977, but by the grace of God the saline toxins put into the woman who was supposed to carry her had the opposite effect. Instead of slowly burn her alive, and blind her she was born. To the shock of the people in the clinic, she stands as a miracle. The abortion doctor was not present or he would have finished the job as is the natural practice, usually by strangulation of the infant born, or they are thrown into the garbage, or left to die on the cold laboratory table.
Gianna Jessen went to testify to the people of Victoria that abortion is the coldest and most brutal of murders. I know many people see abortion as a woman's choice, but it isn't a choice. The choice came before a child is conceived, "will I have sex or not?" There is the moment of choice, your choice is to keep yourself from getting pregnant with a man you know there is no future with. Men, your choice is the same. If you know you will end up leaving a woman after the sexual act, then why be with her? We need to mature to a point where we are responsible for the decisions we make. Pregnancy is a consequence, and consequences must be the natural result of poor choices. If we expect our children to live with the consequences of their poor choices, why should adults be any different? Children must be led by example.
We must make these adults responsible for their actions.
Murder is not an option. Abortion is not a form of birth control. These mothers must carry their babies, whether wanted or not to full term, as a consequence of the choices made. They must not be allowed to further victimize innocent parties. The unborn child is completely innocent. We must not consider the rights of the woman in this matter, but the rights of the child. We as a society must protect our unborn. Abortion is a heinous crime. It is murder, when Gianna tells her story it is absolutely horrific and unconscionable how a doctor can do such things. Doctors have taken a Hippocratic oath to save lives. This is nothing short of what Dr. Mengele did. Abortion doctors are no different. No different.
We are in the midst of a life and death struggle people, choose life. Abortion must be criminalized. It never should have been legalized. This is the silent genocide of the most innocent Americans.
We say we abhor genocide. You always hear," never again." This is in our own country. Millions murdered. Child sacrifice. What makes us different from Ancient Israel when they practiced child sacrifice. God abhorred what they did and eventually punished them. The Holy Scriptures reads, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." (Heb 13:8) He hated the sacrifice of babies then, and He abhors it now.
Do not decieve yourselves. How long will we get away with genocide? Their blood is on all of our hands. The blood of the unborn.

Prayer more than words
Prayer is sometimes more than words. It is visceral, it is the Holy Spirit uttering deep inside the things I don't even know I should pray for. Sometimes, I think I am speaking English, or I want to speak my language, and an entirely different speech comes out. Words, words that I don't even know, but the prayer in my heart is uttering the words I would never say or prounounce. It is as if the Holy Spirit and I are praying simultaneously in unison. The Holy Spirit taking the lead, leading me in the things I need to ask for.
There is the flow of language so strong, so tireless, that passes my lips so passionate, filled with fire and dedication, and love. I can't stop the words, the prayers keep spilling out of me. I feel the presence of Him, as I experience the Holy Spirit pray for me. My voice, His prayers, my mouth, my tears, but all His wisdom.
A whirlwind, deep wildnerness, waterfalls inside, a rush of soul embracing the words of the prayers, blessing them with the kisses of a heart that is vulnerable. I long to reach the mountains of prayer, the rivers of Godly wisdom, the wilderness of humility. Too often, my prayers are mere words, no power behind them, just words, no pauses, no tears, no humility, no vulnerability, just words.
I think prayer has to be about more than words.

My Beloved United States
Maybe 2012 is the transition of a different life for the world. My Beloved United States can't go on like this much longer borrowing money from China, as well as others. Instead of sending money overseas( with the exception of humanitarian causes) we as a nation need to start paying back some of the loans. We as a nation need to tighten our belts, all of us, that is everyone has to sacrifice and suffer more than we have been doing. It's time to start paying for the way we have been living. Americans need to stop buying so much stuff, we are distracted with all the technology, with all the baubles, with materialism.
How much longer do you think God will let us go on living with our self-absorbed attitudes, truly we are Laodicea. There is so much greed in this country, even among the poorer and middle classes. There is so much poverty, and no one seriously wants to help the homeless or those who have been severely affected by the econmonic situation. We are back to buying things, back in the stores. Watching expensive and superfluous films like Avatar in 3D. Hey, I watched it too, and I judge myself.
Where will all of this end? The borrowing, the living, like life is one big party, one big joke. Both political parties, need to meet in the middle, and we as a nation need to take responsibility for the debt, but do it responsibly, while helping our own nation first to recover. We simply do not have the money to send to Yemen. I feel for other nations, but how does the old saying go, "charity begins at home."
We need to recover. We need to take care of our own people. We need to create jobs. The rich among us, need to start paying more taxes, and stop hiding money off shore. They need to feel blessed that they live in a nation that allowed them to have what they have. Instead of wanting more. Greed is a symptom of a much deeper problem. Greed is a spiritual emptiness that seeks to fill up the hole with things.
We need to fill up the holes with God. We need to ask for and pray for His wisdom. We need to pray collectively. We need to stop being foolish, and fighting wars we simply cannot afford.
How can we fight wars effectively and not raise taxes? That's insanity. Either raise the taxes for a war or don't have a war. You can't have it both ways. It is both political parties that are ruining this country. We cannot be effectively strong, if we are not financially strong, and we are financially weak because of the sin in this nation. We sin, because we kill our unborn. We sin because we call pornography freedom of speech. We sin because we do not punish people who do evil, instead we coddle the evil in prisons. How do you think the Lord views a nation that sacrifices their unborn? We may call it pro-choice but God calls it child sacrifice, and He punished Israel for sacrificing their babies. He calls people on their sin, and we should be grateful His mercy has lasted this long.
We need to repent, ask God for His help, and turn away from what we know is sin. You can call it pro-choice, but abortion is murder, and God will punish.
We are already tasting the fruits of our sin, we are struggling economically. The rich may think they have gotten their profit margin back, but it is only temporary. The country cannot recover if people do not want to change. If we want to live any old way eventually we will reap the consequences, and we are already seeing the evidence of that.
Things may seem only temporarily better, but what happens when foreign nations call us on the loans? Do we trust them by borrowing more? We need to trust in God and not in foreign governments to bail us out. Eventually, they will want their money back, money we keep spending.
God have mercy and bless this nation, my beloved United States.

With compassion and dignity
I think we need to maintain civility in all relationships. In doing so we uphold civility in the world. It is important to treat everyone, whether we agree with them or not with dignity and civility, if it be at all possible.
We as a society need to treat the homeless population with compassion and dignity. It is a stain on us as a country when we have people living out on the streets. Its not shame on "them", it's shame on "us", those of us with the means, the voice, the power, and the will to help out those less fortunate, not by hiding them. We need to provide acreage, places for the homeless to live, and feel safe in. If we care so much about animals, and want to provide habitats, for them, how much more should we provide adequate housing for those created in God's image? How much more should they be treated with the respect that God intended?
It is a sin, to have people ignored, and to be treated as if they do not exist. It's a sin, when the churches of the world, certainly of this country do not unite and help those whom Jesus loved.
No one should be out in the cold not even fit for dogs to be out in. When our hearts are as hard as they have become, what is to stop us from living out our vices, and trumpeting our most grievous of sins to the entire world?
Life is important to God, and it should be to us also. Life is only worth living when we can bring other people to the level of a dignity they deserve. Let us lift up the homeless, today.

Let's Keep America strong!
Anarchy. Too much freedom is anarchy, mind you totalitarism is bad, but everyone demanding rights all of the time, wanting to have the freedom to say whatever is anarchy. Freedom is a priviledge, freedom must be morally based to have any lasting value whatsover. You can't preach hatred, and print smut and call that freedom, that's not freedom, that's anarchy. A government must be regulated by laws, laws for all the citizens. If some of the citizens are not willing to abide by laws, then anarchy begins to set in.
For example, you can't have rich people not pay taxes, and evade taxes just because they can. That is corruption. Everyone who is able must pay their fair share of taxes. The evasion of laws by the rich, by placing themselves above the laws, this too is anarchy.
Just because their is a government in place saying it is a democracy does not make it so. When people do not want to obey laws and the governnment doesn't enforce it's laws this is anarchy. Why is there alot of crime, because the government does not punish lawbreakers adequately or justly. People who murder willfully should and must be put to death. Is it justice when murderers go free? Or sit in a jail, while decent people must pay to keep them in prisons. We have put so much money into prisons, at the expense of our educational system. What does that say about where our heads are at. A country needs its citizens to be educated, without educated natives, the country ceases to belong to it's citizens anymore.
We need to keep America strong by enforcing laws and laws, true laws are moral. Just because something is not illegal, does not make it moral.
Morality implies taking care of all of it's citizens, not just catering to the rich because they can buy people in the government. Abortions have to end. Why? Because it is immoral to murder even fetuses. In governments with no law, murder runs rampant. And we have run rampant with the legalization of abortion. Do not kid yourself in thinking abortion is not murder, that is exactly what it is. No country will ever last when people systematically murder a portion of their population.
No country will ever flourish when a portion of it's population is homeless. Don't kid yourselves, all of the citizens must be strong in order for a nation to be strong. When there are so many poor, the nation becomes a third world nation. Most third world nations have the worst sorts of despotic governments. In order for government to be valid, all citizens must matter not just a select few.
Let's keep America strong, by caring about all of it's citizens.
